Send an email
After finding your legislator, using their Iowa Legis email, write them a short email with your story or reason that you're advocating. If you would like, please finish your email with this statement: "I support state funded childhood cancer research".
Write a Letter
It's as simple as its always been. Write a letter and mail it to the state capitol with your legislators name.
Please end your letter with: "I support state funded childhood cancer research".

Visit the Iowa State Capitol
The Iowa state capitol is a site to behold. Much of the state's history, including a replica of the USS Iowa BB-61can be found in the building. Tours are available, make a day of it!
On the 2nd floor under the rotunda is where the doors to the senate and house chambers are found. Just outside of the doors you will find a table with a form that you will need to complete, enter the information as requested. It's as simple as asking them to step out of the chamber and visit with you.
